Listen On …

Caberfae Peaks. One of the oldest (and best) family-centric ski resorts in the nation. Especially in Michigan. Pete Meyer makes no bones about it.
I found Caberfae Peaks quite by accident. I was looking for someplace in Michigan that had the longest ski runs. Someone said, “Did you look at Caberfae?”
No, I did not.
And I was so glad that I did.
But what really impressed me was the real sense of family while I was there. So many families, skiing the hills. It was really a sight to see.
When I shared this with the owner of a diner, she told me that dollar for dollar, Caberfae Peaks is the best way for her and her kids to have fun in the winter months. And I understand this. The season pass is reasonable. The crock pot lodge is open to anyone to use. And this makes it affordable for almost anyone to come and enjoy the day with friends or family; church groups and any groups.
As Pete shares, being in the ski business is a family affair. Starting with his dad and uncle, he is ow a second generation owner with his cousin Tim.
And they show no signs of slowing down.
